Phillip S. Smith
Areas of Practice
Phillip S. Smith was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in accountancy, with honors, from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington in 1983. Upon graduation, he began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Lowrimore & Warwick, P.A. in Wilmington, North Carolina. In 1990, Phil Smith returned to school at the University of Florida's Levin College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, in 1993. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994. Phil Smith was a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina from 1989 to 2000; and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants from 1989 to 1992; the National Association of Accountants from 1984 to 1992; and continues to be a Certified Public Accountant on inactive status in Florida. Phil’s law practice centers on complex civil litigation, including class actions, contract disputes, and construction litigation.


Christina A. Campbell
Areas of Practice
Christina A. Campbell is from Lakeland, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology with minors in business administration and mass communications from the University of Florida in 2013. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 2016 and successfully completed all coursework and examinations necessary for the Estate Planning Certificate Program. While earning her law degree, Christina received the Levin College of Law Scholarship and the Dean's List Award. Christina is currently enrolled in Stetson University College of Law’s Elder Law LL.M Program. Christina is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar Association and serves on the Medicaid and Veterans Affairs Committee. She is also a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar Association. Christina is a Veterans Affairs Accredited Attorney and is a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. Christina enjoys giving back to her community and serves as Past Chairman of the Affiliate Board of Directors and as a Board Member of the Foundation Board for Habitat for Humanity of Lake and Sumter County. Christina also serves as a Board Member of the UF Health, Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation. In her free time, Christina enjoys practicing yoga, baking, and spending time with her family.
Daniel J. Kersey

With a strong focus on Commercial Litigation, including Construction, Shareholder, and Business disputes, he has built a reputation for navigating complex legal landscapes and advocating fiercely for his clients' interests. His approach combines meticulous attention to detail with strategic insight, ensuring that he provides tailored solutions that meet the unique challenges faced by each client. Beyond merely addressing legal concerns, Daniel empowers his clients to make informed business decisions that align with their overarching goals. He understands the nuances of high-stakes legal matters and is committed to achieving optimal outcomes, whether through negotiation or litigation. Daniel J. Kersey grew up in Brevard County, Florida. In 2015, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida and became a Double Gator when he received his Juris Doctor with Honors in 2018. In law school, Daniel served as External Vice President for the Florida Moot Court Team and as the Senior Galleys Editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy. He also externed for the Honorable Wm. Terrell Hodges in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida’s Gainesville Division. After law school, Daniel worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Third Circuit. Since 2019, Daniel has worked beside Phil Smith advising and advocating on behalf of our clients. Daniel has been married to his wife, Megan, since 2020 and welcomed their first daughter, Aubrey in 2021. Megan is a professional dog trainer and equine enthusiast. Three years later, Daniel and Megan welcomed a set of twins: Whitley and Isla. With a track record of success, Daniel prides himself on his ability to cultivate lasting relationships built on trust and integrity. He is passionate about empowering his clients with the knowledge and support they need to navigate their legal journeys confidently.


Tina M. Smith
Areas of Practice
Tina M. Smith is a Florida native, born in Leesburg and raised throughout Central Florida. From an early age, her parents instilled in her the importance of helping others—a value that has guided her personally and professionally. Throughout her life, she has supported individuals with disabilities, those experiencing homelessness, and abandoned animals. That passion for service ultimately led her to a career in law. Tina earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2011. Tina began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Fifth Circuit, practicing criminal law. During this experience, she discovered her desire to build deeper relationships with clients by working alongside them to navigate and overcome their legal challenges. Throughout her career, Tina has gained broad and diverse legal experience. Her background spans residential and commercial real estate, title claims, foreclosures, liens, land use, construction disputes, landlord-tenant matters, HOA/Condo Association issues, estate planning, probate, and business transactions. At Smith Campbell PA, Tina serves as the lead attorney for the Real Estate Closing Department, overseeing all residential and commercial closings. She also assists clients with business formation, guiding them through structuring their new ventures or supporting their real estate purchases. Tina is active in her professional community as a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law; Business Law; and Environmental & Land Use sections of The Florida Bar. She is also involved with the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Sumter County Bar Association. Deeply committed to giving back, Tina serves on the Board of Directors of The Neighborhood Center of South Lake. She takes great pride in her work—known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine compassion—and strives to go above and beyond for every client. Outside of the office, Tina volunteers with DreamFlight and various animal-focused organizations. She enjoys spending time with her husband and rescued pets, practicing amateur photography, and curling up with a good book.
