Smith Campbell P.A. Names Daniel J. Kersey Equity Shareholder and Director

Smith Campbell, P.A., announced today that Daniel J. Kersey has been named an equity shareholder of the firm and appointed as a Director on the firm’s Board of Directors. Daniel joins founding shareholders Phil Smith and Christina Campbell, who established the firm in 2025 and have led its continued growth.

Daniel has worked closely with the firm’s founders since 2019, and since the formation of Smith Campbell, P.A. in 2025, he has played a key role in building and leading the firm’s litigation practice. His elevation reflects sustained performance, strong leadership, and a commitment to the firm’s standards for strategic, client-focused representation.

Daniel’s practice centers on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction disputes, shareholder and business litigation, and unfair competition matters. He also handles probate and trust litigation, premises liability, and trade secret disputes. Daniel is deliberate in strategy and meticulous in preparation, providing practical, business-minded guidance while advocating forcefully when disputes arise. He additionally advises on and litigates disputes involving canine and equine contracts.

A Florida native raised in Brevard County, Daniel is a Double Gator, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida before earning his Juris Doctor in 2018. Following graduation, Daniel served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Third Judicial Circuit before transitioning into private practice.

Outside of the office, Daniel values time with his family.
